OCT 04, 2025 | 5,000 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for
abandonment of a black Shih Tzu and Chihuahua around September 23 in Barkhamsted. The dogs were seen running in the area of Route 318 Beach Rock Rd. and the Seville Dam. The Shih Tzu was captured and is safe. Unfortunately, we fear the worst for the Chihuahua as it is a very wooded and rural area with a large and varied predator population. Anyone with any information should call Barkhamsted Animal Control at 860-978-1876.
OCT 03, 2025 | 5,000 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for abandoning the husky on Oct 1, 2025, along the walking trail behind John Toro field beyond the rainbow bridge. If you recognize this dog or know its owner, contact Torrington Regional Animal Control at 860-485-9165. Please leave a message in the general mailbox. Callers may remain anonymous; however, they would not be eligible for the reward.
SEP 30, 2025 | 5,000 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for abandoning the small dog in a crate on September 27, around 5 PM at the Buckland Hills Walmart parking lot.
