$8,000 reward offered for stolen dog named Marshmallow

Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates | March 20, 2025 |
WINSTED, Conn. — Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates is offering a $8,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for Marshmallow's disappearance, theft, and/or condition.
This reward is in conjunction with the AMA Animal Rescue $2,500.00 and $500.00 pledged from Army's Legacy Rescue And Sanctuary, Inc., bringing the total reward to $8,000.
Marshmallow is part of the ongoing investigation of Sarah Smolek and David Reid, who were arrested earlier in the week regarding the 27 dogs that were seized from their home in 'inhumane' conditions.
Marshmallow was not recovered during the seizure.
