BRISTOL, Conn. — Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates announces the increase of its reward to $6,000 for information leading to an arrest after a cat that was found frozen to death in a crate near Rockwell Park.

A donor recently contributed an extra $1,000 to the initial $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for abandoning the adult orange tabby cat in a blue and black crate over the weekend of December 28, according to a Facebook post by the nonprofit.

The nonprofit said the reward will be rescinded 90 days from Jan. 7, 2025.

Anyone with any information should call Bristol Animal Control at (860)-584-3011.
